Winnie by WORKS
Terms of service
Last updated: October 2026
These terms are the agreement between WORKS ("we", "us") and the business that signs up for Winnie ("you"). By using Winnie or callwinnie.com, you agree to them. We kept them short and in plain English.
What Winnie does
Winnie is an AI receptionist. It answers your business's phone calls, answers common questions, collects caller details and books jobs into the tools you connect. We set it up for you, test it on the kinds of calls your shop gets, and review calls with you.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 and able to agree to these terms for your business.
- Give us accurate information about your business, services, hours and pricing. Winnie answers callers using what you give us, so please keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for who you give access to your account.
Plans, pilot and billing
- The pilot is free for its stated length and number of calls. Nothing is charged unless you choose a paid plan.
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Calls over your plan's included amount are billed at the per-call rate shown on our pricing page.
- Plans are month-to-month. You can cancel anytime, and service continues until the end of the month you have paid for. We do not refund partial months.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing month.
Your responsibilities
- Use Winnie only for lawful business purposes, and not for spam, robocalls or misleading callers.
- Follow the laws that apply to your calls, including any call-recording notice your state requires. Winnie can play a recording notice at the start of each call if you ask.
- Check bookings and messages Winnie sends you, and handle emergencies according to your own procedures.
AI has limits
Winnie is good, but it is software. It can mishear a caller, miss a detail or make a booking mistake. We work to keep errors rare and fix them fast, but Winnie is not a replacement for your judgment, and it should never be relied on as an emergency service. Callers with an emergency should be directed to 911.
Your data
Your call recordings, transcripts and customer details belong to you. We use them only to provide and improve your service, as described in our Privacy policy. You can ask us to export or delete them at any time.
Our service
We aim to keep Winnie running around the clock, but phone networks and online services sometimes go down. We will tell you about major outages and work to restore service quickly. We may update Winnie's features over time.
Ending service
You can cancel anytime. We may suspend or end your account if you break these terms or do not pay, and will give you notice when we reasonably can.
Liability
Winnie is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, WORKS is not liable for lost profits, lost jobs or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here and email customers about significant changes. Using Winnie after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
